This little loudspeaker is only 50mm (2.0 inches) square, yet can handle 10 Watts. It is intended for use with our ShockWave2 sound module in smaller models on lower supply voltages (up to 14.8V) or up to 18Volts if two are wired in series. Its sensitivity is a very high 90dB/1W/1m so they play loud and are recommended for smaller airplanes of around 40 inch wingspan. However, due to its smaller size, its low frequency response is not as good as our larger 4 inch or 5 Inch speakers so will not reproduce the low frequency rumblings of large piston engines as well.

It is also suitable for smaller helicopters, model boats or tanks.

CAUTION : if you want to use this speaker with our very powerful ShockWave2 sound module you must exercise caution with the volume control to limit the power delivered to this speaker. The ShockWave2 module could easily burn out this small speaker.
